Ethan and Jenna Smith
We’re Ethan and Jenna Smith, the visionaries behind what started as The Back Nine. Inspired by our passion as parents and educators, we sought to create a place rooted in connection, where guests can relax, enjoy each other’s company, and form lasting memories. Our blend of genuine hospitality, craft cocktails, house-made food, and cutting-edge golf simulators laid the foundation for what’s now evolving into Smith’s American Tavern. While honoring our past, we’re excited to elevate the experience with an even greater focus on exceptional food, drinks, and community.

Featuring two Full Swing Golf simulators, not only can you play famous courses like Pebble Beach and St. Andrews, but you can also take advantage of our multi-sport options, including football, baseball, soccer, hockey, zombie dodgeball and more!

Come on in, just to eat! Our craft food is sure to have your mouth watering and wanting more. Delicious house-made wing and pasta sauces, in addition to our hand-rolled Cuban Egg Rolls and beer-battered mushrooms - there is something on our menu for everyone. PLUS - Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10-2, only at our downtown location!
